Each week we gather to hear the Word of God and join in Holy Communion with our Savior, Jesus Christ. We receive forgiveness and encouragement for our daily lives. Children are an important part of our worship and we include them in all aspects of worship. There is a weekly children's message and children are welcome at the Lord's Supper. There is also a staffed nursery available for each service.
Traditional Worship: Sundays 9:00am
Lutheran worship at it's best! In this service we use a sung liturgy from the Evangelical Lutheran Worship book. We sing old familial hymns as well as new favorites.
The Sanctuary Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings and sings twice a month. This group is for anyone who enjoys singing; you do not need to be musically trained.
The King's Ringers Hand Chime Choir practices weekly and plays for worship twice a month. This group is for anyone who can read (words, not music) and wants to make a joyful noise to the Lord!
Contemporary Worship: Sundays 11:00am
This service is less formal than our earlier service; while including time-tested worship patterns, we use fresh words and music. If you are a new Christian, or if you are wondering about God's role in your life, this is the service for you!
The Worship Team rehearses weekly and leads contemporary Christian music for our 11 o'clock service. Vocalists and musicians are strongly encouraged to audition to participate in this group.
Evangelical Lutheran Worship - St. Mark's is excited to announce the addition of this new hymnal published by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. This worship book helps newcomers and long-time members worship with all their hearts and minds. Through words and song, this resource helps us tell the Good News of Jesus Christ in a new way. Lutheran to it's core, this resource also includes the best gifts of the whole Christian church across the world.
Summer Worship 9:30am
This is a blended service, including both traditional and contemporary elements.
